From April 15 to 18, 2025, Wuhan Yoha Solar Technology Co., Ltd. proudly took part in Solarex Istanbul—the first and only solar‑energy‑themed trade fair in Turkey—held at the Istanbul Expo Center. Organized by the Turkish Solar Energy Society with support from leading industry associations, the event brought together over 250 exhibitors from 30 countries and welcomed more than 10,000 professional visitors. As a high‑tech enterprise specializing in photoelectric automation equipment, we exhibited our flagship Fiber Laser Cutting Machine, Photovoltaic IV Tester, EL Defect Detector, and other independently developed solutions. Our goal for this appearance was to strengthen brand awareness in the Middle East market, meet prospective partners, and showcase our latest R&D achievements. By the close of the fair, we had secured a substantial pipeline of qualified leads and established several promising collaboration plans.
In just four days, our team collected over 150 high‑quality customer contacts and initiated discussions on five potential project partnerships, marking a successful return on investment in both time and resources.
Solarex Istanbul holds a unique position as Turkey’s premier solar‑energy showcase, serving as a pivotal commercial platform for the latest global technologies and domestic innovations. In its 12th edition this year, the fair expanded to a 20,000 m² exhibition area, featuring 250 exhibitors and drawing upwards of 10,000 attendees, including CEOs, R&D directors, and procurement managers from across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Backed by the Turkish Ministry of Energy and key industry bodies, Solarex Istanbul combines a large‑scale exhibition with a packed schedule of seminars on financing, production, and market trends.
Over the past five years, Wuhan Yoha Solar has advanced its core capabilities in photoelectric automation, rolling out new-generation Fiber Laser Cutters, Solar Cell Sorting Instruments, and EL Defect Imaging Systems. By joining Solarex Istanbul, we aimed to:
Elevate Brand Presence: Introduce our “innovation‑first” philosophy and twenty-plus years of industry expertise to a broader international audience.
Generate New Leads: Engage decision‑makers from solar‑module manufacturers and EPC contractors to fill our global sales funnel.
Facilitate Technical Exchange: Showcase real‑time demos of our Photovoltaic IV Tester and Fiber Laser Cutting Machine, and gather user feedback to guide future product iterations.
Our senior engineers and sales specialists delivered live demonstrations of our Fiber Laser Cutting Machine, highlighting its sub‑0.1 mm precision and high throughput. At scheduled intervals, we hosted interactive Q&A sessions to explain the operating principles of our PV IV Tester and EL Defect Detector, allowing attendees to run sample tests and review instant data outputs.
Throughout the fair, our booth welcomed over 200 walk‑in visitors, including several top‑tier module manufacturers from Turkey and the UAE. We collected detailed requirements from twenty serious prospects, documenting five concrete project proposals for 5–10 MWp turnkey lines. Many visitors praised our machines’ combination of mechanical robustness and cost‑effectiveness, with one senior EPC manager noting:
“Yoha Solar’s automated solutions could significantly reduce our cycle times while improving yield consistency.”
Overall, our participation in Solarex Istanbul yielded strong brand exposure and a tangible business pipeline. Based on on‑site feedback, we plan to refine the user interface of our IV Tester software and explore a modular add‑on for faster EL imaging.
Next Steps:
Schedule follow‑up demonstrations (both virtual and on‑site) with the five top prospects by May 2025.
Deepen technical dialogues to finalize commercial proposals by Q3 2025.
Launch a targeted marketing campaign in Turkey and neighboring markets, leveraging the fair outcomes.
Looking Ahead:
We aim to return to Solarex Istanbul 2026 with expanded booth space, launch two new product lines, and build on the strategic relationships forged this year.
